Roque Lockdown on House Afrika is the latest release from the label. Roque Lockdown has been produced by the artist also known as Sibusiso Mtsweni who is from Witbank. He is getting a solid start with this debut release out on House Afrika.

Not just any producer will be able to find their music released on this reputable label. So he must have some really impressive production skills in order to count himself on the same list as the other artists backed by House Afrika.

He has been influenced by MAW, Julian Jabre, Mr., and Trancemicsoul. They are therefore referenced in his deeply cyclical productions.

He’s also got an ear for good music and that’s a skill every producer continues to sharpen as their careers grow. On his debut album ‘Lockdown’ he proves his worth and has collaborated with Jaidene Veda a soulful vocalist from Canada, and Kellie Allen from the UK.

Jaidene Veda has previously worked with Blaze’s Josh Milan and Ursula Rucker. Both vocalists offer the album a distinct quality flair.

Roque Lockdown has already grabbed the attention of George Levin, Holi M, and Stephanie Cooke, and Roque has collaborated with all of them.

With this full length house album, he brings together a finely balanced and well put together release that boasts his deep afro soul style.

The release is ended off with “Tarzan (A Tribute to Ame)” which does the job off summing up this debut album as a polished and poignant piece of work.
